V-Force changed some parts on some applications, mid run. This number refers to petal size and number of fingers. ie: 883 is 88mm 3 finger, 904 is 90mm 4 finger.

PERFORMANCE

REED SPACERS EXCELLENT COMBO W/REEDS! The reed cage on the Yamaha single piped triples, blocks off the intake port feeding the rear of the cylinder, resulting in restricted fuel flow. Spacing out the reed cages gives the air and fuel a much straighter path to this rear port. By smoothing out the fuel flow, performance is gained (about 2-3 HP at low end), and the steady slow speed burble at low end is nearly eliminated re- sulting in improved throttle response. No jetting required. Kit comes complete with longer bolts, gaskets and spacers for factory like set-up. On the large twins the same effect appears, the spacers allow for a straighter path to the rear port resulting in less restricted fuel flow and improved throttle response. Spacers are 1/4" wide.
